Born in a small conservative town of Willard, Missouri, Chappell is one of the most well known queer artists of this. With her music containing a mix of fun pop and southern country, Chappell bagged multiple awards in the past year with a singular album.

Chappell Roan released her very first album “The Rise and Fall of the Midwest Princess” in 2023, however, it didn’t gain attention until the summer of the year after. Known for its hyper-pop tune and relatable queer stories, songs such as “Casual,” “HOT TO GO,” and “Red Wine Supernova” quickly became international sensations.

Being based in the United States, it’s no surprise that most of Chappell’s listeners reside in the US. Despite this, she was still able to have a total of 45.1M monthly listeners on a well-known streaming platform such as Spotify. Her audience mainly consists of young queer women (ranging from their teens to early twenties), as they’re the ones that primarly relate to her music.
